Today, I am hosting a Book Tour for Tammy Gallant,
the author of Impending Reveries.
Impending Reveries
Impending Reveries
Talyn has always had vivid dreams, but when she noticed the people, places, and events from her dreams happening around her, she wondered if she'd gone insane. Until she met Joseph. He was everything she'd dreamed of for years, literally, and when she learned that he'd dreamed of her too, things changed. What they had were more than dreams. They were Impending Reveries.
Join Talyn and Joseph as they search for the truth behind their dreams and the meanings that they hold, all the while, also searching for something even greater. Their own happily-ever-after.
My Review of Impending Reveries can be found here.
Here is a little about Tammy:
Tammy Gallant is the wife of a disabled veteran,
mother of two teenagers, step-mother of three adults, Meme (step-grandmother)
of seven, and caretaker of 3 fur babies. She writes Paranormal New Adult
Romances. She lives in a small town outside of Mobile, Alabama and is a Pro
member of the Romance Writers of America.
Here is a picture of Tammy so you can feel like she is talking right to you:
Q1. This is a very interesting story how did you come up with it?
A.
I woke up from a
wonderful dream of my husband and lay awake imagining what it would be like if
the dream really happened. My imagination tends to run away with me, as it did
in this case, and Impending Reveries was born.
Q2. Will this book be a series? If so, can you tell us about the series?
A.
Yes. I’ve written
three books, including this one, so far. I have ideas for a fourth, but haven’t
started it yet. The stories are a continuation of the families you meet in
Impending Reveries. The next two will be the second generation and the fourth
is a surprise.
Q3. How long did it take you to write and get published?
A.
The writing didn’t
take long. I was a mad woman getting this story out of my head. Very little
sleep and lots of coffee. It took about a month and a half. That was almost two
years ago.
Q4. Do you believe in true love?
A.
Of course! I wouldn’t
be much of a romance writer if I didn’t. LOL
Q5. Do you have any other stories waiting to be written?
A.
I have quite a few
ideas rattling around in my head. The hard part is choosing which one to work
on next.
Q6. This story was a teen – young adult as far as the romance was concerned. Do you think you will always write this type of romance?
A.
I may branch out to
adult, but I will always keep my stories tame enough for the younger readers.
Q7. Do you think you will change the cover art on
future releases of this book? If so, do you have any ideas on what you would
like?
A.
This cover was what I
imagined before I even finished writing the book. But my second choice was a
large, brick building with a bench to the side of it.
Q8. Can you give us an idea about your writing process? Are you a planner or a pantser? Do you plan out your story or do you just sit down and write?
A.
I am very much a
panster. I may jot notes as ideas come to me, but I plan nothing. Most of my
ideas come to me while I’m sleeping, driving, or some other activity where my
mind is allowed to wander.
Q9. If your book were to be made into a movie, who do you picture playing the lead roles?
A.
That’s a tough one.
Hmm, maybe Liv Tyler as Talyn and Jerry Trainor as Joseph. (I watch way too much iCarly.)
Q10. Audiobooks are my favorite way to make a story come to life. Are you planning on getting your book into AudioBook format?
A.
Possibly. I’m looking
into different options, including print books and AudioBooks.
